Southern Ocean Retreats was established in 1993 as a family owned business with a view to providing visitors to Deep Creek a choice of quality self-contained holiday rental accommodation. In the years that followed we embarked upon an extensive renovation programme starting with Glenburn and Goondooloo cottages. Each now provides comfortable and affordable holiday rental accommodation at lovely locations in Deep Creek. The Deep Creek Homestead was added to the range in 1997. It offers guests a superior standard of holiday accommodation in its own secluded valley.
In 2001 the Ridgetop Retreats were constructed on the edge of the Stringybark Forest. These purpose-built architecturally designed cottages have won critical acclaim and set a new benchmark in nature based holiday accommodation.
